ངོ་ཚ་བ།

ngo tsha (ba):

The word ngo tsha (ba) is used in Tibetan both as a noun ("the act of blushing and shame") and as an (heteronomous ) verb (“to be ashamed”). Jäschke literally renders ngo tsha (noun) as “heat of the face” (Jäschke 1881: s.v. ngo). See also the dGe chos gsung ’bum (vo. 5, p. 77), which understands it as gdong tsha ba (“to become hot of the face”), that is, “to be ashamed” or “to blush.”
