Just a food for thought before I doze off to sleep. What could be the meaning of tho in words such as tho co/cho “foolish joke,” tho ’tsham pa “to menace,” tho rangs “dawn,” tho yor “scare-crow,” tho lum “metal ball,” and the like? Could tho in tho ba “hammer” be in anyway connected with mtho?

And what about tho in kha na ma tho ba?
